Microsoft: 'Windows 7 family-pack niet beschikbaar in Nederland'

De opvolger van Windows Vista, Windows 7, komt geen family-pack beschikbaar van in Nederland. Ook een 50% voorverkoop korting komt niet beschikbaar in ons land.

Vanaf 6 augustus komt Windows 7 beschikbaar op MSDN/Technet, en daarna voor andere groepen. De Nederlandse versie van Windows 7 komt 'pas' vanaf 1 oktober op MSDN/Technet.

De 'gewone' gebruiker zal moeten wachten op of na 22 oktober om Windows 7 te verkrijgen in de winkel. Wel kan je vanaf nu al voorbereiden op Windows 7 als je er klaar voor bent.

Momenteel kunt je nog gewoon de Release Candidate downloaden (tot 15 augustus) vanaf de Microsoft site af. Deze blijft geldig (met ingevoerde key) tot 1 maart 2010, daarna starten de waarschuwingsreboots tot 1 juni 2010.

Het 'Windows 7 Upgrade Option' gaat ook gelden in Nederland en is beschikbaar naar 31 augustus of eerder op de site van de fabrikant.
