Ik heb nu een nieuwe computer..maar waar ik me een beetje mateloos aan irriteer is het geluid dat van het ledje afkomt.. Als de computer erges mee bezig is zie je altijd zo'n klein ledje onderaan in je pc branden. Nou is het zo dat bij mijn vorige pc daar geen geluid uit kwam maar bij deze hoor je steeds zo'n klein tikje als dat lampje brand. Ik vroeg me af of iemand weet of dit uit te schakelen is?

haha ja maar dan zie ik nie dat de pc iets aan het doen is dus das ook lastig..
@ Rubenus.. het is echt de led want precies op de momente dat die led aangaat hoor je dat getik.. en dit heb ik vroeger ook gehad bij oudere computers.. maar nu dus weer

Haha, het is ej HDD dus;).. Dat ledje geeft een indicatie van waarmee de HDD bezig is. Dus als de HDD bezig is/gaat (en dus begint te ratelen, goed defragmenteren helpt dar tegen!) gaat het ledje branden/knipperen als signaal dat de HDD bezig is.

Het leuke is dat ledjes geen geluid maken en alleen maar licht produceren. (stel dat jij er ??ntje hebt waar geluid uit komt dan kan je geld gaan verdienen daaraan)
Het ledje is gekoppeld aan de activiteiten van je HD('s), de HD maakt wel geluid en dat zal bijna zeker het irritante geluid zijn wat jij hoort.
haha oke het is duidelijk.. ik vond het zelf ook al een vreemd idee dat er uit een led geluid kon komen maar ik wist het dus niet zeker omdat het geluid steeds komt wanneer ik die led zie knipperen.. dan ben ik dus bang dat ik aan dat geluid moet gaan wennen

Had dit ook met mijn maxtor-schijf, heb er nu een samsung in zitten en het geluid is beduidend minder geworden (is trouwens niet de reden van vervanging hoor).
Als ik het goed gelezen had produceerd Moxtor iig meer geluid dan andere schijven.
Heb jij toevallig ook een Maxtor er in zitten?
Tip, vul je hardware profiel even in, had ik die laatste vraag niet hoeven stellen.

Je kan een nieuwe (stillere) HD gaan kopen. Maar mijn HDD ratelde eerst ook, is nu weg.

in mijn vorige pc zat een maxtor.. die hoorde je echt niet.. nu heb ik een Hitachi Deskstar T7K500, 320 GB, 7200 RPM, 16 MB, SATA II ..waarvan ik dus wel dat getik hoor.. maar aangezien ik toch vaak muziek op heb hoor ik het getik eigelijk niet vaak alleen wel als de muziek dus uitstaat ofzo en das is het eve lastig maar dat went wel ;)
