Ik heb een nieuwe voeding in mijn pc gestopt (420W, eerst 250W) omdat ik een andere videokaart wou erin doen.
Eerst had ik een nVidia GeForce 4200Ti en nu heb ik er een nVidia GeForce 7600GS erin gedaan.
Nu is mijn PC ongeloofelijk langzaam, het rare is dat het in spelletjes meevalt maar als ik bvb outlook opstart begint hij alles te "tekenen", zo randen bedoel ik en het gaat erg langzaam.
Nu vroeg ik gisteren hulp aan mijn oom en die zei dat het niet aan de videokaart maar aan het mobo lag.
Naar het schijnt kan dit niet overweg met nieuwe voedingen.
Er bestaat een oplossig voor alleen weet ik niet welke

ja, je draait nog steeds op je 4200Ti drivers, en dat terwijl je een andere videokaart er in hebt gestopt, alle dingen die je nu opnoemt geven aan dat het een grafisch probleem is en dat zal door nieuwe drivers opgelost worden.
Het standaard proces he, nieuwe hardware-->drivers installeren, en dat had je nog niet gedaan.

Bij Software in configuratiescherm moet je kijken of er iets staat van 'Nvidia Drivers' o.i.d.
En bij apparaatbeheer was het vervolgens slim geweest om bij beeldschermadapters rechts te klikken op die oude graka en Installatie Ongedaan Maken doen.
Maar normaal zou dit niet eens hoeven gezien beide kaarten dezelfde drivers kunnen gebruiken ^o)
Heeft die voeding dezelfde connectoren als je vorige voeding?
Dus een 20- of 24-pins hoofdconnector voor op het moederbord en een extra 4-pins connector die op het moederbord moet.
(En eventueel een connector in je graka als die dat nodig heeft)

Die extra 4pins had mijn oude voeding zelfs niet
EDIT: In mijn BIOS staat iets van AGP Aperture size op 128MB. Moet dit niet 256MB zijn?
EDIT2: Op de helpdesk van GSC zeiden ze dat ik een format c moest doen
Echt geen andere oplossing?

om een on-board graka-memory aan te vullen dus... dat voor jou dus absoluut niets uitmaakt (had je zelf ook ff kunnen zoeken he ^o))
Als je verder zeker weet dat alles goed staat in je bios en je hebt alle drivers weggegooid en vervolgens met de nieuwe kaart erin de nieuwste drivers geinstalleerd (93.nogwat) dan lijkt het erop dat je beter ff een nieuwe windows install kan doen :p
Ik neem aan dat je partities hebt zodat je alleen de C:\ partitie hoeft te formatten en je info ff naar een andere partitie backupped, dan is het opnieuw instaleleren weer zo gebeurd. Mocht je nog geen partities hebben dan lijkt dit een verstandig moment om die aan te maken
Enige wat ik nog kan bedenken dat dit op zou kunnen lossen, als je dat nog niet gedaan hebt: nieuwste chipset drivers installeren
